Dr. Scott Gibson earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph in Canada, graduating with distinction. He went on to attend St. George’s University for veterinary school, completing his clinical year training at Cornell University and graduating summa cum laude in 2018.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Gibson completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the Ontario Veterinary College and spent a year in private practice in Rochester, New York. He then completed a three-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia and is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gibson enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, with a particular focus on gastroenterology, endoscopic procedures, and immune-mediated diseases. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care for pets and helping families navigate complex medical conditions with clarity and support.
Outside of work, Dr. Gibson enjoys hiking, traveling, watching movies, and exploring new restaurants.
